Pediatric Occupational Therapy
Skills for the job of living

Pediatric Occupational Therapy aims to enhance your child's independence and occupational performance. Many people think that occupational therapy is just for adults and those with jobs, but children have important jobs or occupations too! Those jobs include participating in self-care, school activities, social situations, and play. Occupational therapists work closely with children and their families to help them succeed in these daily activities.

At Acceleration Therapy Services in Deer Park, WA we offer an interdisciplinary approach to therapy with a wide array of research based treatment options, individualized care plans, and client driven treatment approaches.

Evaluation:
Services begin with a comprehensive evaluation of your child’s abilities and areas of need using a combination of caregiver interview, clinical observation of functional performance, and standardized assessments. If treatment is determined to be necessary, our occupational therapist will work with you and your child to identify appropriate goals and design a client-centered treatment program.
